The Brislora in St Kilda offers a relaxed cafe experience set just off the busier St Kilda Road, tucked into a quiet, leafy pocket that brings a little calm to the urban surroundings. The vibe here leans into natural light and cozy corners, making it a welcoming spot for locals to settle in for a morning catch-up or a leisurely weekend brunch.

If you’re after straightforward, quality coffee paired with thoughtfully prepared food, this is the kind of place that delivers. The menu features familiar favourites like smashed avo and a reliable egg benedict, alongside a well-rounded drinks list including smooth espresso options and refreshing iced coffees that come in handy during warmer months. For those who like their drinks a little different, the matcha and chai lattes, both hot and iced, offer a flavorful alternative to the usual cafe brews.

Seating choices include bright indoor spaces where sunlight filters through generously during the day, lifting the mood without needing artificial buzz. For those who prefer fresh air, there’s outdoor seating that manages to feel a bit private despite the proximity to a main road, making it a pleasant spot to enjoy brunch without the usual St Kilda noise.

The Brislora’s food presentation tends toward clean, simple, and colourful - think fresh pomegranate seeds or watercress adding brightness to a plate of smashed avocado with feta. This attention to detail matches well with the warm, attentive service reported by many visitors. The staff approach adds to a sense that this is a cafe where you’re not just another order number, but someone whose experience matters.

This cafe suits those who appreciate a calm start to the day, a cozy space to unwind with friends, or even a quiet solo stop to enjoy good coffee and a substantial brunch. Weekends, when the sun is streaming in and the place fills with a gentle buzz of conversation, often feel like the best time to visit — whether you’re digging into a juicy chicken waffle or sipping on one of their signature matcha lattes.

We visited this gorgeous cafe for brunch and it was amazing! Firstly, it’s such a lovely spot - it’s tucked away on a quiet, leafy street; has an oasis feel to it and much natural light. The staff were warm and welcoming + service was very fast! The food is also so beautifully presented! We tried the Wagyu Cheeseburger which was very tender; a bowl of crispy chips; the Crab Bagel Benny had lots of avocado and was nicely fried; the seafood pasta was creamy and the prawns were big and juicy; and our fave - the buttermilk pancakes - were warm fluffy and delicious. The drinks we tried: iced mocha; mixed berry smoothie (super refreshing); and caramel milkshake was SO good. Highly recommend this spot!

Decided to try The Brislora for brunch and were not disappointed. Service was welcoming and prompt with a menu that will satisfy everyone. Being able to sit outside was an added bonus and quite private despite being on a busy road. Will definately be back as the food was delicious and the coffee not bad also!

A truly delightful spot for brunch! The charming ambience, paired with soft natural light streaming through the windows creates the perfect cozy vibe. Every dish was crafted with such attention and tasted absolutely delicious, I ordered the chicken burger and it was 10/10! What really made the visit special was the staff; friendly, attentive and genuinely caring. This place has quickly become one of my top brunch destinations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and great meal experience

The best part of our weekend was soaking up the winter sun at @thebrislorastkilda and enjoying their delicious classic brunch dishes on offer. The chicken waffles were so juicy and the maple syrup rounded off the flavours really well. The seafood pasta was super creamy and the prawns were fresh. The specialty matchas were so smooth although could be a bit stronger in flavour. Overall a spot I’d definitely frequent if I lived in the area— it’s classic done well.

Hidden in plain sight this cafe is equal parts laidback and lowkey stylish. While their spelling might have been a little off (although I think they have just updated their menu, spelling mistakes and all), the aesthetic of both the venue and the food is surprisingly on point. It's the kind of place you find yourself at when you’re craving a quiet hideaway for a slow morning, and a decent cup of coffee. And the food is simple and familiar and doesn’t try too hard. No surprises but definitely no complaints - except the French Toast which was a thick slab of brioche soaked in cream with ice cream and condensed milk as opposed to the usual.

Brislora is small but punches above its weight with fabulous service and delicious food. Van (the owner) is always on hand to greet everyone and make you feel welcome. He listens and responds to feedback. The eggs Benedict with salmon is yummy but so are all the dishes especially the burgers. You can’t argue about the prices or the size of the servings. My go to every day

Excellent service! The food was amazing, with a great variety of options. I also noticed other lunch choices, and they looked delicious. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!
